Why choose RCS?

Real Community Services is a private family oriented community organisation that provides experienced, quality support services to people living with a disability, acquired brain injury, the aged and youth at risk in care of the state across a wide range of diagnoses, family, cultural, personal and challenging situations.

First developed to meet the unmet needs of the Community Services Sector and to raise the bar on expectations for outsourced support services, RCS started as a one person operation where we developed a reputation for reliability, quality, compassion and ethics, assisting our clients to achieve previously unachievable and difficult outcomes. Today RCS has expanded its service capacity and its dedicated team to offer a wide range of tailor made and person focused supports, while offering the personalised benefits of a relatively small organisation.

Fairly quickly after establishing ourselves as a staffing agency we were encouraged by individuals within the community, clients and families along with government and non-government organisations to acquire our own Disability Services Provider Approval. This was achieved in 2007. Our ABI and youth programs were developed shortly after.

Real Community Services continues to view its community responsibilities acutely, developing and supporting a culture of compassion, ethics, honesty, flexibility and commitment to going the extra mile to supply quality experienced support services and outcomes. We also aim to continue to provide a service that is effective, viable and respected by individuals, families, government/non-government organisations and the community.

RCS regularly support various charities. The most notable of these is the Mater Foundation - Mater Little Miracles. An amazing organisation, also holding value of personal significance to us, some of our team, clients and families, providing hope and care for the states seriously ill and most vulnerable children.

Real Community Services is constantly adapting and evolving and will continue to change and develop in response to identified needs so we may continue to supply quality, experienced and personally tailored support services.

Funded programs such as Inhome Accomodation Support, Group Residential Services, Child Safety, Respite and Post School Options, Community Access, Lifeskills Development and and rehabilitation support complement our Specialised Brokerage Services and Brain Injury Community Connection. We help our clients access the support and services they need as they move through the different stages of their life.
